The Paleopolis located south of Batsi within 6.1 km on the road to town. It was the old capital of Andros.
It is a village built on the slopes of Mount Petalo. At the highest point are the only waterfalls in the Cyclades.
In the village there is a restaurant, cafe and small museum with finds of excavations, open every Wednesday.
