The village Apikia is situated 5 km north of Chora Andros. In this village is the source Sariza, known for its curative properties.
In the settlement Apatouria many beautiful bridges and some of the oldest mansions of the island. At a distance of 6 km you will find two very important monasteries, the Monastery of Saint Nicholas located above the valley of Achla and Agia Marina monastery.
Near the village colony ten minutes walk is irematia Pythara with small waterfalls and magnificent rock formations.
Following the creek to the Pytharas closely you will see the largest water mill from the Balkans in 1863 as in 1936 initiate the pasta factory located next to.
