Pithara: you can come here from Apoikia, where the famous Sariza spring is situated. The amazingly beautiful nature spot of Pythara is nearby with its small waterfalls, lakes and fantastic rock formations.
Further along the river from Pithara heading towards Stenies is the biggest
watermill of Balkans, which from 1863 to 1936, was used to operate a factory
next to the watermill which produced all kinds of pasta.
Paleopolis is today a lushly verdant village built on the slopes of Mount Petalon from the top of which you can see the unique for Cyclades waterfalls.
