The beach of Grias Pidima located two kilometers northeast of Ormos. It is a small beach, by the most famous of the island,because of the special landscape.
You can come by boat from Ormos or road from the Ormos up to a point, and from then on required approximately 5 minutes walk.
In the water you will be able to see a strange rock which , according to a tale, shows the old lady who helped the Turks to occupy the Castle of Kohylou.
The old lady regretted her action , climbed up onto a high rock and commited suicide by jumbing into the sea. This is how , they say , the name of the beach came...
