Plaka beach is close to the ancient town of
Zagora Starting from Batsi you drive
towards the village of kaparia.
Further on from Kaparia towards Stavropeda , is the beginning of a steep
road which leads down to Plaka beach ,
an untouched area where remains have
been found from the Middle Cycladic times , and a little further on still
is the deserted beach of Apothikes.
